Power made on the island, for the island

Our next direction is solar, storage and energy management for buildings in Gran Canaria. We are not selling installations yet: we are looking for the first sites.

Where this stands today

WATEXO Energy is in development. There are no installations or prices to show yet. Talking to us now means your building can be part of the first plans, with no commitment.

Solutions by property

What we would plan for each kind of building. We are preparing the first projects now, and nothing is on sale yet.

Villas

A villa uses power at all hours: the pool pump by day, air conditioning and the kitchen into the evening, and more and more often an electric car.

What we would plan

  • Panels sized to what the house uses over a year.
  • A battery, so the afternoon sun keeps the house running after dark.
  • A charger for the car in the drive, wired as part of the same plan.
  • Monitoring on your phone: what the roof made today and where it went.
  • Surplus sent to the grid under Spain's self-consumption rules, compensated on your bill.

To start, send us

The address, a photo of the roof and a recent electricity bill.

Grants change often. When we plan a project, we check which national, Canary and island programmes are open at that moment.

Wind

The south-east of the island has steady trade winds. We are studying where smaller projects make sense.

Sites planned with EV charging in mind, so the wiring is ready when cars arrive.

Why panels and batteries belong together

By day the sun runs the building and fills the battery. After dark the battery takes over.

How a first project would run

  1. You tell us about the site

Address, type of building, roughly what you pay for power now.

  2. We look at the numbers

Usage, roof, shade and connection, and whether it makes sense at all.

  3. We plan it together

A written proposal with stages, so you can start small.

  4. Installation and running

With licensed local installers. You see what the system produces.

Common questions

Can I buy a system from you today?

Not yet. We are collecting first sites and partners. If that changes, this page will be the first to say so.

What do you need from me?

A short message about the property is enough. No documents at this stage.

Are you looking for installers and suppliers?

Yes. Write to us with what you do and where you work.

Have a roof, a car park or a building in mind?

A few lines about the place are enough to start.
